Dr. Joseph Earl Gray, III. was born on October 18, 1991, to his proud parents, Dr. Joseph E. Gray, Jr. and Dr. Tawanna L. Gray. He is the second of three children (Jermaine & Tianna). On November 26, 2016 he married his "High School Sweetheart" and Love of his Life-Carmen Samantha Gray. Pastor Joe and Lady Carmen have a handsome 2-Year-Old Son, Joseph E. Gray, IV., affectionately known as “FOUR”.

Dr. Joseph E. Gray, III. or "Pastor Joe" (as he is affectionately called) serves as the Pastor of the Word of Prayer Cultural Center (WOPCC), where his father serves as Founder and Overseer. Pastor Joe is a dynamite articulator of the Word and has a special way with people-- helping them realize and exercise their gifts as well as encouraging them to honor God with their Lives. Pastor Joe has been used of God to do some Amazing things at WOPCC since becoming Pastor 3 and a half years ago. Pastor Joe has been writing sermons and preaching the Word of God since the tender age of 11, not hesitating to answer the call that was on his life. He was licensed into the Ministry of God on July 17, 2004, Ordained as an Elder in the Lord’s Church on November 17, 2013, and elevated to Pastor of WOPCC on January 1, 2016.

Pastor Joe Graduated (with Honors) from Charles Herbert Flowers High School, where he was in the Science & Technology Program and President of the school's Christian Club. He attended Howard University, where he studied Biology and English and was President of an on-campus Bible Study called Word Up! Most proudly, he is a Graduate of PenteFaith Biblical Studies Institute (Houston, Texas), where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Theology; Master's Degree in Christian Counseling; and his Doctorate Degree in Theology. Pastor Joe is now the Dean of The Word of Prayer Bible Institute (WOPBI), where he serves as the Associates and Masters Level Professor.

Dr. Joseph E. Gray, III. is an inspiration of what young people (especially young men) in the body of Christ can accomplish in and through a nurtured relationship with GOD, and a life led by Holy Spirit, with JESUS at the Center of it ALL!!!

Word of Prayer Cultural Center is a non-denominational church in Largo, MD, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dr. Joseph E. Gray III.
